Allison Adornato

Head of Corporate Underwriting

Ms. Adornato joined Garrison in May 2008 and is responsible for underwriting within the Corporate Finance Group.

Prior to joining Garrison, Ms. Adornato was employed by Patriarch Partners, LLC where she was responsible for originating and executing both equity and debt transactions. Prior to Patriarch Partners, LLC, Ms. Adornato was employed by The CIT Group, Inc. for 12 years and held various roles. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Business Development of CIT’s National Restructuring Group. In this role, Ms. Adornato was responsible for developing relationships and sourcing lending opportunities from Investment Banks, Restructuring Firms, Turnaround Advisors and Hedge Funds. Prior to the CIT Group, Ms. Adornato spent 10 years underwriting and executing senior secured debt financing transactions. Ms. Adornato has broad experience in both asset based & cash flow lending, with a strong emphasis on bankruptcy and restructuring situations. Her previous experience also includes: second lien lending, syndications, and corporate strategy. Ms. Adornato graduated with an M.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from the Stern School at New York University and a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University.

Christopher Bigos

Consumer & Specialty Finance

Mr. Bigos joined Garrison in May 2015 and is responsible for special situation and consumer finance transaction origination and execution within the Financial Assets Group.

Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Bigos worked at Deutsche Bank in the Structured Credit Group where he focused primarily on unsecured consumer finance, with an emphasis on near- and non-prime revolving and closed-end installment loans and private education student loans. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Bigos was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley in the Public Finance Division. As a member of Morgan Stanley's Student Loan Banking Group, Mr. Bigos advised clients in the acquisition and disposition of whole loan portfolios, as well as the restructuring and refinancing of student loans financed through VRDNs, ARNs and warehouse lines representing more than $6 billion of aggregate asset-based financing. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Bigos spent 6 years at RBS Securities Inc. (formerly known as Greenwich Capital Markets), in the Asset-Backed Finance Division. Mr. Bigos received a B.S. in Management and a B.S. in Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he graduated summa cum laude.

Josh Brandt

Head of Corporate Special Situations

Mr. Brandt joined Garrison in October 2008 and is responsible for managing all aspects of the investment process, with particular focus on due diligence, execution, portfolio management and business development within the Corporate Finance Group. He serves on the Board of Directors of various Garrison portfolio companies, and is experienced in private credit and distressed private equity.

Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Brandt was an Associate at CastleHill Investment Management, where he focused on underwriting and managing credit strategies and financing solutions throughout the capital structure. Mr. Brandt began his career as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Lehman Brothers, where he focused on equity, debt and M&A transactions in the General Industrial and Transportation sectors. Mr. Brandt received a B.A. in English from Columbia University, where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

John Bunting

Head of Consumer & Specialty Finance

Mr. Bunting joined Garrison in September 2008 is responsible for structured finance credit analysis, execution and portfolio management within the Financial Assets Group.

Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Bunting was a Director at Financial Security Assurance (“FSA”) where he focused on non-MBS securitization transactions in the U.S., Asia, and Latin America, and worked on assets ranging from aircraft lease portfolios and life insurance products to unsecured consumer loans. Prior to joining FSA, Mr. Bunting worked in the Structured Finance Group at Ernst & Young (E&Y) advising clients on risk management and loss mitigation strategies. Prior to E&Y, Mr. Bunting ran the Capital Markets Group at NextCard, which was an internet based credit card bank. Mr. Bunting received a B.S. from Susquehanna University.

Robert Chimenti

Head of Corporate Origination & Syndication

Mr. Chimenti joined Garrison in July 2008 and is responsible for origination and underwriting and leads capital markets and syndication activity within the Corporate Finance Group.

Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Chimenti was a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group at Morgan Stanley. His responsibilities included originating, structuring, underwriting, investing in, and syndicating senior financing transactions at various corporate stages. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Chimenti was employed by the CIT Group, Inc. where he held various roles including underwriting and executing transactions, and managing a portfolio of accounts. Mr. Chimenti is experienced in asset based and cash flow secured lending, for purposes of acquisitions, mergers, leveraged buyouts, and bankruptcy and reorganization transactions. Mr. Chimenti graduated with a B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University.

Josh Dinstein

Head of Retail Asset Management

Mr. Dinstein joined Garrison in July 2011 and is responsible for asset management of Garrison’s retail portfolio.

Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Dinstein was a Portfolio Manager at Kimco Realty Corp. (NYSE: KIM) where he worked as part of the Risk & Large Transactions group. Mr. Dinstein was responsible for evaluating debt and equity investment opportunities, asset management, lease negotiations and underwriting & deal execution for new acquisitions. He also served as Kimco's Real Estate Investment Committee representative for Albertsons, a national grocery chain. Prior to Kimco, Mr. Dinstein was a Sr. Financial Analyst in the real estate group at PublicisGroupe S.A., where he developed and implemented restructuring and disposition plans for 1 million square feet of corporate real estate. Mr. Dinstein began his career as an Analyst with Interequity Capital Partners, L.P. a venture capital firm in New York City. Mr. Dinstein received a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University with a concentration in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Jeffrey Fier

Corporate Origination

Mr. Fier joined Garrison in October 2007 and is responsible for corporate finance origination, transaction analysis and execution.

Mr. Fier is based in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Fier was an Equity Analyst at Skiritai Capital from 2005 to 2007, where he was responsible for performing research and analysis on small-cap and mid-cap U.S. equities. Prior to Skiritai Capital, Mr. Fier was an Investment Analyst in the Global Equities Team at Jeffrey Slocum & Associates where he was responsible for analyzing investment portfolio holdings and managers in addition to performing equity market research. Mr. Fier received a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.

Colm Flynn

Head of European Real Estate Lending

Mr. Flynn joined Garrison in September 2010 and is responsible for origination, structured finance analysis, execution and portfolio management with a focus on Europe.

Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Flynn was a senior analyst at Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC), (formerly known as Anglo Irish Bank Corporation, PLC) in their Commercial Real Estate Banking division in New York with a focus on originations, credit analysis and restructurings across all major asset classes throughout the U.S. Mr. Flynn received a B.S. and an M.B.A from St. John’s University, New York.

Susan George

Head of Corporate Asset Management

Ms. George joined Garrison in March 2008 and is responsible for asset management within the Corporate Finance Group.

Prior to joining Garrison, Ms. George was employed by the CIT Group Inc. for 21 years and held various roles including Chief Operating Officer of CIT Business Capital, was a member of the Business Capital Investment Committee, and was a coverage officer for CIT’s Hedge Fund Coverage Group. Ms. George has broad experience in both asset based & cash flow lending and a strong background in managing portfolio accounts and credit analysis. Previous experience also includes: overseas assignment, managing sell side loan syndications, responsibility for underwriting in the Northeast Region, managing portfolio accounts and field examination/due diligence. Prior to CIT Group, Ms. George was employed by Congress Financial as a new business originator. Over her career, she has specialized in middle market corporate finance and has expertise in Debtor-In-Possession, Confirmation and Turnaround Financing activities with industry experience in healthcare, financial services, retail and steel. Ms. George graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Manhattan College.

Tom McGarrity

Head of Office, Industrial & Senior Housing Asset Management

Mr. McGarrity joined Garrison in October 2008 and is responsible for asset management of Garrison’s office, industrial and senior housing portfolios.

Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. McGarrity was a senior project manager at Time Square Construction & Development, a New York -based commercial and residential construction and development firm. As a senior project manager, he was responsible for underwriting new acquisitions and managing all phases of the development process for its NYC luxury high rise projects. Prior to Time Square Construction & Development, Mr. McGarrity worked as a Vice President at Credit Suisse in their Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group. He underwrote and structured first mortgage loans, bridge loans, mezzanine loans and direct equity investments in real estate assets. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. McGarrity began his career at KPMG Consulting. Mr. McGarrity received a B.S. in Finance from La Salle University and a graduate certificate from the Real Estate program at New York University.

Long Nguyen

Real Estate Acquisitions

Mr. Nguyen joined Garrison in April 2010 and is responsible for real estate transaction origination, analysis and execution.

Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Nguyen was an associate at Square Mile Capital Management, an opportunistic real estate investment firm, where he restructured, managed, and disposed of primarily hotel debt and equity positions as well as underwrote potential new investments. Prior to Square Mile, Mr. Nguyen was a real estate analyst at JP Morgan Investment Management. Mr. Nguyen graduated from Babson College.

Chuck Pomerantz

Head of Hospitality Asset Management

Mr. Pomerantz joined Garrison in January 2012 and is responsible for asset management of Garrison’s hospitality portfolio.

Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Pomerantz held senior level positions for numerous hospitality groups including Denihan, Redmont and Salamander Hospitality. From 2003 to 2006, Mr. Pomerantz was part of the opening team serving as Vice President and Hotel Manager of the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center where he oversaw all daily operations of the 1,511-room resort and convention center with 400,000 sf of meeting and exhibit space. From 1996 to 2003, he worked with Wyndham Worldwide as Director of Operations and was with City Hotels USA as Assistant Director of Operations prior to Wyndham. Mr. Pomerantz received a B.S in Hospitality Management from Florida International University.

Eric Rosenthal

Real Estate Acquisitions

Mr. Rosenthal joined Garrison in January 2011 and is responsible for originations, analysis and execution across real estate equity and debt strategies. He primarily focuses on opportunities across senior housing, office, net-lease, and hospitality. He also manages the firm's real estate special situation efforts.

Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Rosenthal was an associate at Gramercy Capital Corp. working on debt originations and special servicing across all major property types and capital stack positions. At Gramercy, he worked to successfully restructure distressed loans including first mortgage, mezzanine and preferred equity participations. Mr. Rosenthal received a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
